Manya Krobo Community Games

We formally knew MANYA KROBO COMMUNITY GAMES as the “Ngmayem Festival Gala” which was established in October 2000 by Hon Michael Teye Nyaunu, then Member of Parliament for Lower Manya Krobo Constituency.

Ngmayem Festival Gala was one of the major events of the festival every year. They organized the event for the love of football and also to score some political points. They organized it until he left power in 2008 and was taken over by Hon Okletey Teye-Labi current Member of Parliament. He organizes it until he left it to stakeholders in 2016.

Achievers Network took over from 2016 to develop football talents on the Krobo Land.

This year Manya Krobo Community Games will comprise twenty (20) teams from the Manya Krobo communities namely Atua, Kodjonya, Asitey, Odumase, Korletsom, Mampong, Agormanya, Agbom, Yohe, Madam/Abase, Kpongunor, Nuaso the defending Champions, Kpong, Okwenya, Akuse, Middle Belt, Asesewa, Sekesua, Akaten and Anyamoni Quarters.
All Twenty (20) teams will be grouped into four (4) groups of five(5) teams. Forty-eight matches will be played in all.

They will play the Manya Krobo Community Games at the Oklemekuku Memorial Park popularly know as Laasi park (Odumase-Krobo), from the 20th to 31st of October 2021.
Registration is free. There will be cash and material prizes for the first, second and third teams. Other prizes include Top scorer, Best defender, Best goalkeeper, best Midfielder and the Fair play team…
