The 2021 edition of the National Science & Maths Quiz was launched yesterday 19th October, and there was a balloting for the preliminary stage of the contest.
These are some of the words shared by the sponsors of competition and some government delegation present at the event.

Mrs Nana Akua Ankomah-Asare MD of Primetime indicated that ”it has been a trying, yet thrilling year with many ups and downs, many challenges and a lot of uncertainty in spite of it all, here we come today about to kick-start the National Championship.”
Head of Marketing Absa Bank Ghana
The head of Marketing Absa Bank Ghana had this to say “we need a new thinking that will help set our youth on the right path, for a future we can all be proud of…. At Absa, we continue to dive this agenda through our support of programs such as #NSMQ.”
PR Manager at GOIL
Mr Robert Kyere, PR Manager at GOIL said this year they are instituting an award for the most decent, and well behaved school at the Final in a bid to encourage healthy competition.
Head of Marketing at Prudential Life Insurance
Mrs Mawukni Ribero Head of Marketing at Prudential life insurance said they are happy the competition has been move to Kumasi for them to see the Dynamics of the quiz in the Ashanti Region… She concluded by saying they can’t wait to see what is in store for them this year.
AirtelTigo Ghana Chief Marketing Officer
AirtelTigo Ghana Chief Marketing Officer Atul Singh said “Every time I see this show, I feel like I have never learned anything in school.”
The Deputy Director General of the GES
The Deputy Director General of the GES in charge of Quality & Access said after Football, the NSMQ is the competitions of choice in Ghana… He then wishes all contestants well, and want the best school with the best preparation win.
Deputy Minister of Education in charge of TVET
Gifty Twun Ampofo Deputy Minister of Education in charge of TVET concluded by saying “By the time the 2021 National Championship is over on the 26th of November, many of our young ones would have learned a lot and picked up some problem-solving skills among other.”
