Rev. Christian Baah Nartey donates or presented items to orphans at Nuaso on Good Friday.

The Leadership of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Zimmermann Congregation – Odumase Krobo, on the Easter Good Friday, paid a visit to the Nectar Home Foundation, in Nuaso New Town in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality.

As part of the church’s social Responsibilities of helping the less(orphans) privileged in our society, the Leadership of the Church Led by The District Minister, Rev. Chris Baah Nartey presented to the management of the Nectar Home Foundation some items.

These items include; Toilets, Bags of Rice, Bags of Sachet and bottled water, Cloths, Cooking Oils, Eggs, Soaps, Soft Drinks, Biscuits and an undisclosed amount of Money among others were presented.

Speaking at a short but colourful presentation ceremony, The District Minister, Rev. Chris Baah Nartey express the church’s delight for their support and also added they have seen the Significance of the death of Christ in our lives, and also Prayed for the kids to have life.

Madam Frederica Akosua Akuffo use the opportunity to express her appreciation on behalf of the Orphans to the Leadership of the Church for their kind Gesture.

Present at the short ceremony was the District Minister, Rev. Chris Baah Nartey, The Associate Minister, Rev. D.T. Mawutsoeni, Cat. Emelia Kpabitey, Cat. Obed Zimmermann Partey, Ministers Spouses, Senior Presbyter and Presbyters and a Cross Section of Congregants.

About Nectar Home Foundation—Nuaso

The Nectar Foundation is a non-governmental organization (NGO) started and founded in the year 2002 by a Reverend Minister of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Rev. Felix A. Anyasor (late) at Nuaso – Newtown, Odumase Krobo, in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality in the Eastern Region of Ghana.

The mission of the foundation is to provide food, shelter, health needs and education to the vulnerable and children orphaned by HIV/AIDS.

The foundation is currently supporting over 30 children between the ages of five years and twenty-one years.

Nectar Home Foundation employs three full-time staff to take care of the orphans.

The foundation provides support to foster parents, direct financial and material support to the needy, volunteer programmes, and skills, among others.
