The dawn of the New Year was greeted with excitement and a lot of hope as bells chime to welcome it and to say good bye to the previous year. Church services were in full attendance by Christians praying to the Almighty God for a new year filled with Joy, Hope, Prosperity, Good Health and also on the lips of people; Peace towards the new year’s general elections – 2020.

The excitement of the New Year and its hopes dwindled in the mid of the third month as the world learns of anew pandemic, “the Corona Virus”. All hopes and aspirations of 2020 were lost because of the uncertainty in the availability of a cure to the virus. The world now ha to adapt to the “New Normal” of no handshake, use of sanitizer and the use of a nose mask.

In spite of these, Christians all over the world have cause to glorify and praise the Lord for at least being alive throughout these trying times. It is by this notion that the Young People’s Guild (YPG/YOUTH) of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Hebron Congregation from Nuaso, Odumase-Krobo in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality (Eastern Region of Ghana) decided to organize once again the yearly programme; “YOUTH PRAISE”.

The 2020 edition do “Youth Praise” marks the third edition and it promises to be an upgraded version of the 2019 edition. In view of this, the Planning Committee has organized gospel ministers and artistes from far and near to grace the occasion and make it a memorable one.

The Theme for the 2020 edition STAND UP FOR JESUS; WORSHIP THE LORD YOUR GOD.

Matthew chapter 4 verse 10.

The headline minister leading the charge is Lady Rev. Cynthia McCauley with other supporting gospel artistes which include Minister Stanley Nartey, Minister David LasBee, Minister Jackie, Minister Sophia Tetteh and many others. Reverend Ishmael Aferdi of Krobo girls Senior High School would be present to share a word of exhortation. All these would be a under the auspices of the host minister Reverend Horla Kwabla Nyavor and the chairmanship of Brother Benjamin Lamptey, the YPG president. The programme is scheduled for 20th December, 2020 at the Nuaso Presby Church Auditorium at exactly 5:00pm prompt.

Come one, come all and let’s together and in unity sing songs of worship and praises to our God almighty in Heaven and the Overseer of Earth and our Faith.
